Our Mission

At Orbtronics, our mission is to empower and transform lives through education by providing financial support and opportunities to exceptional students throughout the Caribbean. We are committed to fostering academic excellence, recognizing talent and promoting diversity and inclusion in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. By removing financial barriers, we aim to create equal access to education and unlock the full potential of deserving students.

Our scholarship program is dedicated to nurturing talent, inspiring achievement, and fostering a community of scholars who will make a positive impact on society. Through our support, we strive to enable individuals to pursue their educational aspirations, realize their potential, and contribute to the betterment of their communities and the world.

To be eligible to apply for the Orbtronics Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a CARICOM National.
  • Be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelors program at an accredited university or college OR currently enrolled as a high school senior for the 2022-23 academic year
  • Intend to be enrolled in or accepted as a full-time student in a Bachelors program at an accredited university for the 2023-2024 academic year
  • Be studying in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Mathematics disciplines.
  • Demonstrate a strong academic record.
  • Demonstrate financial need.

The number of Orbtronics scholarships disbursed are subject to the availability of funding from Orbtronics and our partners.

Foreign Affairs Student Award

The Foreign Affairs Student Award presents a remarkable opportunity for students who aspire to pursue their higher education dreams in the United States. In addition to covering the SAT examination fee and providing comprehensive SAT study materials, the award also includes the student's university application fee. This holistic approach ensures that students not only have the tools to excel on standardized tests but also receive the necessary support to navigate the competitive university application process seamlessly.

One of the distinguishing features of this award is the personalized guidance it offers through mentorship. Recipients will have the chance to connect with seasoned mentors who possess valuable insights into the intricacies of studying in the US. By granting this award to 5 deserving students, the Foreign Affairs initiative aims to not only shape the future of individual recipients but also contribute to the global advancement of education and cultural exchange


To be eligible to apply, applicants must:

  • Currently attend the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) or be a recent graduate from a recognized secondary school in Saint Lucia
  • Be interested in pursuing business or STEM at a university in the United States.
  • Be highly motivated and an independent learner.

The completed application must be submitted by August 15, 2023.
